At 10:00 am on October 22, 2018, the opening ceremony of the Autumn Camp of Confucius Institute at University of Lome,Toge was held at the International Students’ Department.

Vice-President Li Xiaochuan, on behalf of the school, welcomed the students who participated in the autumn camp. Vice-President Li hopes that through the teaching activities and cultural activities of this autumn camp, the students can experience the unique charm of the mountain city of Chongqing and the Bayu culture, and achieve great progress in language and culture.

Vodji Koffi Igor representing the Autumn Camp shared his own journey of learning Chinese. He thanked SISU for giving them this opportunity to understand China and Chinese culture. He said that all students must study hard and strive for better results.

Zhang Zemin, Director of the International Students’ Department, and Zhou Ping, the Chinese Dean of the Confucius Institute at the University of Lome, Togo, and the staff of the International Students’ Department attended the opening ceremony.
